So first off, I love the earth and I'm very "green" (green is also my favorite color) So I really push for people purchasing hybrids, driving less, carpooling, etc. Figured I'd make a Widgenie to try and enlighten some people to this situation, (click the pie grahph it pulls apart:) Trying to convince friends of mine how bad the situation really is (the inuit have no words for certain kinds of birds they have never seen - due to the global temp. rise these birds are now appearing to them for the first time) I did a little Google on the issue. I've found that everyone knows how bad all these cars are for the environment, what I didn't know was that even though cars are soooo bad, there only a small portion of the problem. These stats should enlighten all to the fact that if cars are doing damage, and they only give off 2% of greenhouse gases, maybe we need to do something about the other causes...
Gas Network Leaks!!! Sounds preventable right? just like 19% (acutally 100%) of greenhouse gas emissions are probably preventable too.

Hello iPhone?
So apparently the new "thing" these days is the iPhone... Well I'm all about some high tech gadgets but I just don't see all these features as necessary, I also don't see the high prices as necessary considering I'm likely to lose it (in which case I'd be losing my iPod as well:0) Well I did some research and the results almost make me wanna get one, just because maybe I'll use these features if I acutally have them. Oh yeah...of course I put the results into a Widgenie:)
As you can see, iPhone tops all...these are the percentages of people reporting that from their phone they accessed either the news, a search engine, or music. Maybe if I got an iPhone I would acutally use it to read the news...or google where my very directionally challenged self is located:)
